Slowly, I’ve been freshening up our main living area. I’ve been adding little things here and there and changing things up. I’m also on a hunt for a new coffee table — with a wood top because our dining table is marble and I’m trying to add different textures.
Our shelf along the dining table collects a variety of glasses and dishes. I love mixing new with old. These plates are mainly used come Easter time. And those scalloped gold-rimmed plates were a lucky vintage find years ago.
Because we live in a small house, we had to get creative of where to store things. So you’ll see another shelf behind the sofa.
And this bar makes me happy. I’m constantly changing things up here and adding fresh blooms whenever I can. My blue candles were a recent find from March in San Francisco. By the way, did you know I lived in Monterey, California? We used to make trips to San Francisco and Napa Valley. I really miss the Pacific Coast.
Our coffee table again. The glass shadow box and the apothecary matches from Hudson Grace are new additions. I’m loving how my small collection of matches has a pretty place to live in now.
